Meat processor canned for welder's accident


Meat processor Tulip and Armor Inox, a firm it had contracted to supply and install new cooking plant, have received fines of £225,000 after a worker was crushed in machinery. The accident happened during work on an extension to Tulip's factory at King's Lynn in Norfolk and left welder Matthew Smith unable to walk unaided for several months.
