What issues will be covered during Compliance Day?
Because each property will be unique in its exact requirements, we have structured
Compliance Day in a way that a standard package of basic services is available.
Any more specialist items can also be
covered as necessary as an additional service to the standard package.
Within the standard Compliance Day package, the following items are included:
- Re-inspection of all asbestos containing materials to ensure
that there has been no deterioration in their condition, and that no asbestos fibres
are being released.
- Testing of all portable electrical appliances.
- Testing and re-charging of all fire extinguishers.
- Testing of emergency lighting.
- Testing of fire alarms.
- Re-assessment of the fire risk assessment (if such a document
is in place)
- Gas appliance testing.
- Display Screen Equipment assessments
Certain premises may have additional compliance issues that, whilst not in the standard
package, can be included as part of Compliance Day at an additional cost.
Such issues will need to be addressed to ensure full compliance of premises. These include:
- Periodic thorough examination and testing of lifting equipment
and appliances.
- Water hygiene testing.
